I model props with Autodesk 3ds Max and paint textures with Corel PhotoImpact, which is capable of saving layered Photoshop PSD files, if necessary.
Levels are designed with what ever level editor tools are available. I am familiar with brush-based, negative-space, and hybrid editors.
I have extensive logic event scripting skills that come from my background of JavaScript and C++ programming.
I play a LOT of video games and learn something about game design with each one that I play. I am able to analyze my gaming experience and determine which features contributed to its positive and negative aspects.
I am self motivated and try to make each project I complete the best I've ever done. I understand what is required to take a project from concept to publication and I am comfortable in either a leadership or subordinate role during the process.
No matter how much work I've put into a project, I never consider myself to have made anything until the project is completed and published. This keeps me motivated and realistic about what needs to be accomplished. I am able to prioritize design tasks and adjust their level of detail as necessary in order to meet deadlines.
